Among many promising opportunities, Mcer Nguyen Sy Manh chose Mcredit as the place to develop his career in Risk Modeling. Let's find out about his interesting journey from a risk model intern to senior officer at Mcredit.

After graduating from the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Manh started his journey at Mcredit as an intern for two main reasons: the dynamic environment and at that time, Mcredit was a new company in a new industry of Vietnam, which means there are many opportunities to explore, challenge and present himself.

Manh shared: “My job focuses mainly on researching scientific documents, risk models and estimating the feasibility of applying them at Mcredit. This is a job that requires perseverance and a high level of expertise. Even though at that time, I just graduated and didn’t have much experience, it wasn’t a big obstacle as my colleagues enthusiastically guided and advised me. It is impossible to avoid difficult times due to the nature of the job, but I believe that my youthful enthusiasm, confidence, and courage can help me successfully complete the assigned work."

Manh said that at Mcredit, he has learned a lot not only about expertise but also about how to coordinate with other departments and divisions so that the work can be carried out smoothly. "Everyone is very enthusiastic about helping each other and solving problems together."

Recently, Manh and his research team won first prize at the MLOps Marathon competition, the first competition on optimizing the operation of machine learning systems in Vietnam. Participating in the contest helped him improve his professional knowledge and teamwork skills, apply what he knows as well as acquire new knowledge, meet and interact with colleagues in the same field which supported his data career growth.

The hectic work does not make it difficult for Manh to arrange a time for personal interests as a member of Mcredit's Football Club. He shared: “Playing sports helps me exercise and relieve stress, as a way to recharge my energy to continue dedicating to work. Furthermore, thanks to joining the club, I got to know many people in other divisions of Mcredit, so I learned and received a lot of advice from them."

Manh believes that Mcredit will help him continue improving himself and is eager to continue improving his skills and profession, creating values to contribute to Mcredit's journey of creating solutions to serve people.
